Since October 2000 I have been receiving messages from God. During the years prior, I emphasized my roles as a mother, CEO of a company and, in recent years, as a professional esthetician (facialist) - healing faces as well as self-esteem in others.

During my 30s I began to practice Transcendental Meditation, as did my husband and children. During this time, I had clairaudient experiences with various spirit guides.

At the age of 36, I and a couple of friends of mine--a man named Steve and a holistic doctor named Leonard Portner, M.D. - began to offer holistic health seminars to the public in the Detroit, Michigan area. We brought in a variety of healing modalities and healers for these classes, including various "psychics." During these programs and in our outreach groups, I became even more aware of my abilities. This was a time of great growth for me. These group activities lasted for about 2 years. My meditations during this time often brought me closer to the Divine.

In 1985, my family moved to San Diego, California and purchased a company called "Tilly Collectibles." My path then took a different turn. I became an officer of the company and later became President. I began to create and manufacture stuffed animals. Each of the pieces took on a special quality I then began to appear on the CVN, HSN and QVC cable TV networks. I appeared monthly on CVN as a highlight artist featuring the stuffed animals that I had created. It was during this time that I began to get letters from people telling me that the animals were helping to heal them, one being healed of cancer; another, of a liver disease.

In 1990, after 25 years of marriage, I divorced. While building the company and promoting it, my life became very complicated and filled with many pressures, so I decided to close the company in 1993 after 8 years of operation. I then took 6 months off to find myself and quiet my mind. Each day I would wake up and begin the day with hours of meditation. My abilities to communicate with spirits were increasing. What came forward after several months was an intuition that I should go to beauty school and become an esthetician (facialist).

In 2004 I turned 62. I have been a professional esthetician for 11 years, which has allowed me to help heal people. I know now that a power truly greater than myself has led me to this profession. During these years, I have become a specialist in adult acne. A majority of my clients have been abused as children. I believe that the scars on the inside are showing on their faces. I not only have healed their acne, but have helped them to bring back their self esteem and heal their lives. I feel very fortunate to have been able to do God's work in this way. In September 2000, I began to take a hypnotherapy training with my then boyfriend, James Maynard. During a session with James, Mother Mary began communicating to me. I not only heard beautiful messages from her, I also saw her as a most beautiful angel of light. During the next several weeks she began to open me up in a way that I had never before experienced. It was as if I were taken to a place far beyond where I had ever gone before.

While I was in a session in the training class in October 2000 Mary told me that she "had someone else" with her and that she had "come first so that it would be easier for me to accept what she was going to introduce me to now." She told me that God was here with her and that God would be speaking with me from that time forward. It was then that God began to speak to me. I have experienced God as a being that is beyond gender. However, because of the common cultural reference to God as "He," I also refer to God as He. God told me that He would be bringing messages through me for the world to hear. I then began taping God's messages daily. Each morning as my husband, James, and I arise, we meditate and I receive God's messages. I have recorded these messages on tape or had them written down as they came through. The messages have given James and me guidance on how to live our lives and given a special meaning to our lives.  

James would typically guide a brief meditation, then I would communicate whatever message I was receiving from God that day. These messages have greatly deepened our understanding of how God wants us to live our lives in "God's ways." The guidances received have helped both of us to live more wisely and with ever greater inner peace, happiness and contentment as life goes on.

As I have shared Messages from God with others, I have received calls from people all over the world. I found it interesting that during the several months before the 9/11 event in New York, the majority of calls were from New York.

I feel that this "gift" has opened up in me because I have done the necessary work on myself to enable me to be open to receiving this gift. All of my life, the good and the not so good have given me compassion and love for every living being. I believe that I am the same as everyone else. The main difference is that I stopped to truly listen. So often, our minds and lives are so filled to the brim that we cannot hear what is truly important. It is my hope that through these messages, all will gain insight into how truly to walk in God's ways and experience greater peace, joy, love and harmony in their lives.
